I used to be absolutely petrified of anything concerning a dentist. I ignored pain in my mouth because I was so scared of the drills and the pain. I am very sensitive and do not handle pain well, and do not get numb. I’ve had horrible experiences at the dentists, and because of that, I put off going for 3½ years.

When I heard the ad for sedation dentistry on the radio I was still scared and pessimistic about its results so I ignored it and even would change the station until the ad was over.

But when the pain became the most unbearable and brought me close to tears on more than one occasion, I actually listened to the ad and got the phone number.

I endured years of knowing the condition of my teeth was going to cause an immediate problem for me, one day. The very thought of going to the dentist to do some thing about it horrified me. It all came to a head a few months ago when I realized I had no choice but to face it all. The business I managed for 18 years was to relocate to another city, and no one in their right mind would have me unless I did something about my teeth. I had no choice. On one of the last few days on my way to work at that job, I heard Dr. Piedra’s ad on the radio. It changed my life.

The staff was so warm and understanding; the appointment was immediate; the sedation factor allowed hours of work, correcting my years of negligence in just a few visits. I had envisioned months and months of regular visits to get it all done.

I would like to tell my success story with my dentist....

Last time I was at the dentist office I had my third tooth pulled from my bottom jaw. It was the worst experience I ever had. I was so hard to pull out the dentist was lifting me out of the chair. I almost passed out. Fifteen years later, a fourth tooth had broken and started to cause me lots of pain, but I was DEFINITELY not going to go to the dentist. I was in so much pain I drove to a dentist office but in the parking lot I chickened out and left. The next day I was going crazy with pain and heard the commercial on the radio and made the 20 mile trip south. The rest is history. I have beautiful bridges and can chew my food with no problem. Dr. Piedra and Dr. Talavera have done an exceptional job. To tell you the truth, now I enjoy coming to the dentist.

My name is Chris. I had been playing ice hockey my whole life, and had bad teeth. I never used to smile because my teeth were ugly. I came to Dr. Rene Piedra and my life has been changed. I had to learn how to smile again, but that was a small price to pay. The staff was/is the best. They always seem genuinely happy to see you, and help you. I was always scared to come to the dentist and tried to get away with not coming. I now have a beautiful set of teeth. I couldn’t recommend any stronger for someone to come and get their smile fixed. Dr. Piedra,

I hope after our most entertaining appointment/examination we had right before Memorial Day weekend, you have not forgotten me. I’m not sure if I’ll see you during the final stage of my treatment but I just wanted to drop you a note letting you know how everything was going.

If you recall, it’s been a while since I have visited the dentist. I was quite afraid and embarrassed to go. I just wanted to tell you that so far my experience has been so incredible! Everybody in the office is fantastic! Everyone has been supportive, optimistic, and courteous. I was so gung-ho with the first stage of my deep cleaning that I had my final deep cleaning session scheduled the morning directly after. Claudia was my hygienist and she has been awesome! Again: very professional, supportive, and very thorough.

I can tell you that although dentist offices tend to run on the expensive side, I really feel like I’m getting my money’s worth here. I promised you, and myself, one of those success stories to include in your binder. Although we are still early in the game for a success story, I just wanted to let you know I am really happy with the results so far. My gums are getting pink again. It feels great to smile once again and not be embarrassed.

I still have a long road to travel, but it’s nice to see some results early in the game. That way it motivates me to keep moving forward to a speedy and successful recovery.

After my last two visits, I am now obsessive about brushing and flossing. I can’t eat a single thing now without having the drive to brush it right off, loving it!
